I am Joan Mattson.  My husband and I currently live in Anchorage, Alaska.  I began practicing yoga in 1993 when my husband was transferred to London, England where  I found myself with lots of time on my hands and thought yoga sounded like something I might enjoy.  I was hooked!  

From then on, I tried to find teachers wherever we lived until 2009 when we were  living in  Baku, Azerbaijan and I decided it was time to teach.  

I began studying in India with Swami Santhi Prasad and began teaching in Baku.  Over the course of the next two years, I traveled to India two more times and accrued 900 hours of teacher training with Swami Santhi.  

My work with the Akashic Records began many years ago and I have channeled information from the guides and the Akashic Masters for most of my adult life.  I have also taught classes both here and in the U.K., teaching people  from  all  walks  of  life  how to channel and to read their own Akashic Records.  Periodically. I give Akashic readings for the local community in a group setting.  I am hoping to have another community reading soon via Zoom.  Stay tuned! 

Until recently, I have been teaching in studios in the Anchorage area but since the onset of the Coronavirus, I have been teaching my classes  via Zoom.  Who knew teaching on Zoom would be so great?  If you would like more information on joining the yoga classes, please call or text me.  Currently, we have students in the yoga classes from all over the U.S.!
